Hastings Athletic Club took three of the top five places at the latest East Sussex Cross Country League on a bitterly cold Warren Hill last weekend. Adam Clarke, back in a Hastings AC vest, took first place winning in 26.22. Henry Mountcastle was third on the day and first veteran man in 27.20 followed by Jamie Larkin (28.46) in fifth. Bill Darby finished in 33.41 followed by Karen Murdoch (34.29) finishing as second woman. Mark Reece (36.02), Amy Whittle (37.28), John Gately (38.32), Frances Burnham (39.16) & Patience Cooper made up the rest of the scoring team. In spite of these good performances the lack of runners in the senior men category meant that only  7th place was achieved on the day.
